Welcome Katie!

Hello, I’m Katie Fendt, the SRSLY Manchester Transition Coordinator. I am honored to be here to make the transition as smooth as possible. I have some big shoes to fill, but I promise I will do my absolute best. A little about me, I grew in Dexter and completed my associates degree in Liberal Arts at Washtenaw Community College. Currently I am finishing my undergrad at Western Michigan University in Child & Family Development. Before I started at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital, I worked at Huron Valley Ambulance as an EMT and a member of their Honor Guard team. I live in Grass Lake with my husband, our 2 year old son, and our German Shepard and lab.

I have really enjoyed helping Lindsay and the other coalition directors throughout the years, especially Project Stick Shocker and the delicious pizza from Ollie’s. I can promise we will enjoy many pizzas throughout this period. I’m particularly excited for the Haunted High School as I hear it is such a fun event, full of scary, goofy, slimy things! I enjoy working with the youth and building relationships.

We will miss Lindsay and her kind open heart. She has made such an impact while working with all of you. Please know my door will always be open, so feel free to come at any time. We will have countless support from the SRSLY Regional Coalition Director, Reiley Curran and the other SRSLY Coalition Directors in Chelsea, Dexter, and Stockbridge. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and my time here with the SRSLY Manchester coalition.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
