Hi! My name is Abigayil (Abbey) Clark. I’m honored to join the SRSLY Coalition as the new Manchester Program Coordinator. Having grown up in Clinton, MI, I have many found memories of the Manchester Fireworks, high school sporting events and the Manchester Chicken Broil. I have grown to appreciate their small-town values and truly look forward to working within this tight- knit community.
Over the last ten years, I have been working with Michigan Medicine in a variety of administrative roles. In 2016, I had a tremendous opportunity to work with a grant-funded initiative dedicated to preventing opioid abuse. Through this funding, I was able to assist in hosting multiple medication take-back events across the state of Michigan, while also implementing the first three Take Back Events in my hometown, Clinton, MI.
In addition to my professional accomplishments, I have obtained a Bachelors of Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and I am currently working toward a Masters of Arts in School Counseling. My desire is to assure that each student feels supported and valued. I believe SRSLY provides an excellent opportunity for students to contribute in a meaningful way within a safe, supportive environment.
To say that I am excited about SRSLY and their mission is an understatement! As a new member of the SRSLY team, I am convinced that this special group of students, staff, community members and school administrators. Watching each coalition member invest of their time and resources, I am further convinced that this community is full of dedicated and passionate individuals. I look forward to working with each of you!
